National carrier Air India is rescheduling flights across domestic and international routes after restoring it’s server functionalities that encountered glitches on Saturday morning.

Air India said in a statement that the system which faced glitches has been restored at 8.45 am.

The server glitch had affected Air India passengers across the world for a few hours on Saturday morning. That led to many pssengers who got stuck at airports taking to social media to express their disappointment and to seek clarify on when flights will resume.

The company said senior executives, including chairman and managing director, board directors and others rushed to take control of the situation and also to facilitate passengers.

” Flights are being rescheduled to minimise passenger inconvenience,” said the Air India statement.

Air India CMD Ashwani Lohani said that passengers are being taken care of at various airports.
