PUBG i.e Player Unknown Battlegrounds has become popular nowadays because of the addiction that it has caused to the young minds of India. The popular online multiplayer game has become a rage in the country in regards to its affects on kids and teenagers and now it has been claimed that a Mumbai boy committed suicide after he denied a phone for playing PUBG.

The addiction that the game has become has become one of the hot topics nowadays.In recent developments regarding the Indian authorities being very skeptical about very popularity of PUBG among teenagers and kids. Recently, a 11 year old from Mumbai also submitted plea to the Maharashtra government to ban the game.

The report claims that the Mumbai boy has reportedly committed suicide after he was denied a phone on which he can play PUBG Mobile. According to a report from ANI, an 18 year old from Kurla’s Nehru Nagar area in Mumbai committed suicide after his family members denied buying him a mobile phone worth Rs. 37,000 on which he could play PUBG mobile.

The boy hanged himself with a rope tied to the fan in the kitchen. The report adds that the family was willing to give him a mobile phone worth Rs. 20,000 and not more than that and after the family refused the demands. A case of accidental death has been registered by the police and further registered by the police and the further investigation is underway.

Player Unknown Battlegrounds is an online multiplayer game in which 100 players together fight out in free for all combat where the sole survivor emerges victorious.

Recently, 11 year old student filed a plea through his mother requesting the Mumbai High Court to ban PUBG as it promotes violence, aggression and cyber bullying.
